Our Pre-packed Misting and Mistscaping Kits are designed for most general applications. The Pre-Packed Misting Kits include three 10' Nylon kits, which should be enough for most residential projects. However, if you would rather "build" your own system to ensure you are not buying extra pieces, if you want a finished look by using Stainless Steel or Cooper, or if you just need extra pieces, then customizing your kit is the way to go. To figure out what you need to complete a system lets start from the ground up.

Here are 4 easy steps to figure out what is needed to complete a kit.
  1. Measure all open sides of your area. For Mistscaping add 3-5 nozzle groups.
  2. Divide the perimeter distance by 10 to determine the number of 10 foot nozzle kits needed.
  3. Choose your pump.
  4. Add a filter starter kit and that’s all there is to it!

Now that you know how large or small of a space you are working with, its time to purchase your system!

  1. First, you will want to choose a pump.
The pump is the heart of the system, so make sure to choose the pump that is right for your project. To acheive optimal cooling we recommend purchasing a 1000psi pump.

  2. Secondly, you will need a Filter Starter Kit.
A filter system of some kind is a requirement for all pumps and systems. Our Filter Starter Kit comes with EVERYTHING necessary for proper filtration.

  3. The third step is choosing your Nozzle Kit, Nozzles, or Mistscaping Risers.
Each Nozzle Kit comes in 10 foot sections, so once you measure the area, you'll know how many kits you'll need. Mistscaping Risers work exactly the same, if you choose to add Mistscaping to your kit. Also some nozzles work better in certain climates so make sure you purchase the nozzle right for your area. West Coast customers will most likely use a nozzle size of .012 and East Coasters will use a .008 nozzle for the best misting experience.

  4. The forth step is deciding if you'll need extra Tubing and Fittings for your mist line (optional).
If you want to get creative with your misting sytem and fully customize your "cooling" area then you'll probably need some extra tubing and Slip-Lok Fittings to seal the deal. We have easy to use Slip-Lok Fittings that allow you to direct your mist line in multiple directions. Use an Elbow or a 3 Way Fitting to set up multiple zones for your perimeter. The possiblities are endless, fun and easy...so check it out!

  5. The last step is also optional, but purchasing more oil or nozzle cleaner is recommended.
In this step you can purchase accessories for your system.
